Needs to be 20 degrees warmer though and lose the arctic winds!! When the sun went behind the clouds everything would stop and we'd wait shivering.

Still cold winds and not many squirrels out. The arctic winds chilled us to the bone when the sun hid behind the clouds. But 10 degrees warmer than morning.

We ended up taking a squirrel or two here and there during the entire walk. We'd pick a tree and walk around it.

This tree was funny. We spotted 2 squirrels chasing each other and when we got on each side of the tree I had 3 squirrels with their backs to me hugging the tree trunks. I snapped some twigs and 2 of them went to Gordon's side.

We got checked for licenses during the walk in and the game officers told us to shoot every squirrel we saw so we did.

We were frequently spotting different squirrels as I'd tell Gordon to take the squirrel he had a shot at and it wasn't the one I was looking at...

The only ones that sometimes get away are the ones that run down the trunk immediately and hide in the bushes. Funny, they never do that when I'm walking the dogs.
